Package: mit-scheme
# Architectures that have native back-end support. Might be built on the
# autobuilders using either the native or the SVM back-end.
Architecture: amd64 arm64 i386
Multi-Arch: same
Build-Profiles: <!pkg.mit-scheme.nonative>
Provides: mit-scheme-interpreter
Recommends: media-types
Suggests: mit-scheme-dbg, mit-scheme-doc
Description: MIT/GNU Scheme development environment
MIT/GNU Scheme is an implementation of the Scheme programming language,
providing an interpreter, compiler, source-code debugger, integrated
Emacs-like editor, and a large runtime library. MIT/GNU Scheme is best
suited to programming large applications with a rapid development
 cycle.
 .
This package contains the development environment.

Package: mit-scheme-dbg
Section: debug
Architecture: amd64 arm64 i386
Multi-Arch: same
Build-Profiles: <!pkg.mit-scheme.nonative>
Depends: mit-scheme (= ${binary:Version})

Description: MIT/GNU Scheme debugging files
MIT/GNU Scheme is an implementation of the Scheme programming language,
providing an interpreter, compiler, source-code debugger, integrated
Emacs-like editor, and a large runtime library. MIT/GNU Scheme is best
suited to programming large applications with a rapid development
 cycle.
 .
This package contains debugging files for the development
environment. These files provide support for debugging the MIT/GNU
Scheme system, and are useful only if you need to see the system
 internals while you are debugging.

Package: mit-scheme-svm
# Architectures with bytecode back-end (SVM) support. This is in
# src/microcode/confshared.h, which refuses to compile without a
# machine type for the host. Requires binary upload when first added.
# See debian/NOTES.md.

Suggests: mit-scheme-doc
Description: MIT/GNU Scheme development environment (portable SVM build)
MIT/GNU Scheme is an implementation of the Scheme programming language,
providing an interpreter, compiler, source-code debugger, integrated
Emacs-like editor, and a large runtime library. MIT/GNU Scheme is best
suited to programming large applications with a rapid development
 cycle.
 .
This package contains a build for the SVM, MIT/GNU Scheme's own virtual
machine, rather than for a native-code back end. It is portable to any
architecture with a C compiler, at the cost of running considerably
more slowly than a native build, and so is what you get on ports for
which upstream has no native-code back end. On an architecture that
has one, prefer the mit-scheme package; the two can be installed
together, and the alternatives system prefers the native build.

Package: mit-scheme-doc
